In this Canadian study we see again that what predominates as a primary concern of sexual health for men who have sex with men is mainly HIV, and if they do take measures not to become infected, these are usually measures directed at this virus (condoms in anal penetration etc.).They worry less about the bacterias (gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis) that we see transmitted in oral sex and that constitute 90% of all that I diagnose bewteen men.
They also saw that people with hidden sexuality or sexual practices, those who have a secret sex life, have less easy access to tests.
If you have had a risky practice and you are not sure about the tests relevant to your sexual life, we can always have a consultation together and I will give you guidance, with maximum privacy.
